thank heaven for little girls

the little girl (5 or 6 years old?) who lives across the street enjoys sitting at her open window looking down on the street below and singing to her heart's content. every time i see and hear her there, every time, i cannot keep from smiling. i love catching a glimpse of her dream world. she's not the average little girl on the block when she is in her window serenading the world. she is juliet on her balcony, or rapunzel in her tower window, or the five year old mary of scotland sailing the seas with the french fleet, or--you get the idea.

Yes -- very cute story. But what did you do with the drawing? That's one thing that made it so cute! Put it back! Now!

That is simply awesome! The way you described it, I could almost picture it in my head. Also, the drawing is great! I think it captures what you see very well.

That's a great thing to think about. That was very encouraging to me. :)
