after years of wishing, the camera came for christmas.
now the film is discontinued.

my long and frustrating friday evening was spent in front of the sewing machine, finishing the pile of mangled scraps gift for today's baby shower, which i was dreading getting up early to drive two and a-half hours to get to. i am very protective of my sweet, slow saturday mornings. imagine my delight this morning when, glancing out the window, i was rewarded for getting up at dawn. i ran out to enjoy it-that rosy sky, the throaty honk of the goose paddling around the still, foggy pond. it was magic. i happily went off on my baby showering road trip. while it was fun, my favorite part was, as always, coming home. because only here does a nice little pussy cat sit in the window waiting for me.
